Loch Duart salmon provide a lifetime of care for all their fish. From egg to harvest the salmon’s welfare is at the heart of everything they do. Loch Duart salmon are not simply reared on their farms – their farms are purposely designed around their salmon.

These principles and practices combine to form their farming ethos which covers every aspect of the business; the hatchery where the salmon begin life, the environment where they are reared, the use of high quality specialist fish feed, low density stocking practices, fallow techniques, regular checks and monitoring, and their constant efforts to lead the industry forward innovating in ways that benefit their salmon.
